Well what a year 2013 was and i’m sure this one will be the best yet! I recently got engaged to my partner of 8 years (high school sweethearts :P) and I couldn’t be happier. Ah the wedding plans commence! We are moving to Sydney on the 1st March to persue our careers so that’s also very exciting for us. I had a small dinner to celebrate with my closest friends last night so I wanted my makeup to be romantic and glowing. After being gifted the amazing Cindylou-Manizer I couldn’t think of a better highlight to use! I love peachy tones so this made my blush really stand out and give a nice glow to my skin. Cindylou is a subtle highlighter for your face and is the peach version to the Gold Marylou-Manizer. It can also be used as a eyeshadow and I find looks great in the inner corner of your eye to really make your eyes pop.
Please send photos through of your own looks as I love seeing recreations or requests are also welcome!

Afternoon beautiful ladies!
It’s only 7 days till christmas day so I will be doing 7 different makeup looks to give you some ideas and inspire some looks for your festive season. These will include looks for both the Northern and Southern hemisphere as not everyone gets to enjoy this amazing weather we have here in NZ right now (and if you follow me you will know i’m a sucker for bold, darker tones)
As you know I like to feature both “drug store” and higher end products as not everyone has the bank balance to afford products such a MAC, Benefit, YSL etc and cheaper brands can look just as good. Continuing on from my latest Jordana post I went and purchased Jordana”Grape” (yes another dark lippy :P) but I couldn’t resist, and $4 NZD for a lippy is insane! It smells incredible! I feel like actually eating my lips right now. It is not the Matte Jordana lipstick but on my lips it certainly feels like it without the dryness. It has a very smooth application and is a purple tone compared to the red cherry tones I normally go for.
Other products used. Jordana Grape lipstick, Elf Brow Kit Medium, The Balm Marylou Manizer highligher, Revlon Colourstay Foundation, The Balm Cabana Boy, Dior Mascara, Jordana Liquid Eyeliner, NYX HD photo ready primer, Maybelline Dream Terra Bronzer, Sleek Au Naturel Palette.
The Balm,Sleek and NYX available at http://www.makeup.co.nz/webapps/category/102967/339685/82185?mbrafl=1720168
Hey ladies (& gents if any lovely boys read this :p)
Sorry for the delay in posts, I have now finished my Criminology degree hehe! Bring on summer tans, cocktails and festivals. Watch this space as I will be doing a few xmas, festival and NYR looks for you all. !
I purchased the Too Faced Lip Colour Bomb in “Never enough nude” (the lighest shade they produce)- link below, as I saw it on Shaaanxo and had to have it! I love a full, lucious lip and this certainly does the trick! For the first 5-10 there is a slight spicy burning sensation, but nothing you couldn’t handle. You can literally see your lips plump up before your eyes. I chose the nude colour because you can wear it over any other lip colour while having those juicy Angelina Jolie lips which any women wants, lets face it.
For this makeup look I wanted to pair the lip with a soft pinky/gold tinge eyeshadow with a pink warm blush (Mac Melba) and highlight ( The Balm Marylou Manizer) For summer I personally love this look, especially for the day time but still has a slight bit of glam to it.

Happy hump day ladies!
I decided to create this Megan Fox inspired look as I think she is just stunning! She has thick, dark brows like me, strong bone structure and isn’t affraid to wear bold lips. Ah if only I had those gorgeous deep green eyes she rocks! She has a old hollywood glam about her and that’s what I wanted to create for you today. Im excited to announce I will be doing my first Youtube tutorial this week! be kind haha, i’m self taught and never done a makeup class in my life! Enjoy dolls x
Products used- Revlon Colorstay foundation, Sleek Cherry lipstick, The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer, Mac Melba, NYX HD photo primer, Elf eyebrow kit, Elf liquid eyeliner, Dior mascara, Maybelline Dream Terra sun bronzer, Revlon eyeshadow, Sleek Au Naturel Palette
Happy thursday! I have been so busy with studying for my last Criminology exams that I havn’t had time to do any review lately sorry! I’ve just placed orders online for a few goodies so watch this space!
In my spare time this morning I created this look with my Sleek Au Naturel palette because I have been staring at the top right colour- “Taupe”for so long and never used it. It is a lot different to what it looks like in the palette, alot lighter, more a metallic creme and gorgeous I must add. This colour can be used day or night with a light lip or even better a dark lip like I have done below. The lip colour is Chi Chi Turn me on- a bold plum purple but in the photos comes across as a red cherry tone sorry! See my previous posts for the true swatch.
Enjoy ladies, would love to here what you think and if you have any requests!
Products used- Revlon Colourstay foundation, Chi Chi Turn me on, Elf Black liquid eyeliner, Mac Melba blush, The Balm Mary Loumanizer, Maybelline Define-a-lash mascara, Elf brow kit, Sleek Au Naturel Palette, Urban Decay Primer potion, NYX HD photo ready primer, MAC Pro Longwear concealer, Sephora Powder finish, Maybelline Dream Terra Sun Bronzer.
I just want to say a big thank you to all my viewers and followers out there who have been supporting me! It mean’s so much and makes doing this even more worth the while and exciting!
As you may have noticed by now I am a lover of the “bold” makeup look. Just because you have a full, bold makeup does not mean your face is cakey or overdone. It’s all about the products that you use and how you apply them.
At the moment I am loving the Sleek “cherry” lipstick. It is so cheap and is perfection! To purchase- http://www.sleekmakeup.com/. The shipping is so fast considering they ship from the US and the cost of it to be shipped is cheap as chips!
For this look I used an orange Mac eyeshadow. A colour I have never tried before and would never have thought to use until I saw it on a fellow blogger & Youtube Guru. It is not your average every day look but I think its a fun look and great for a night out.
Products used- Mac Studio Fix Foundation, Elf Black eyeliner, Sleek AU Naturel Palette, MAC Rule Matte eyeshdow, Mac Pro longwear NW20 concealer, Dior Mascara, NYX HD photo primer, Sleek Cherry lipstick, ElF Brow kit.
